Dear European licencees of Catan!
As every second year, we will organize another European Championship of Catan in this year.
This year's event will be held from 8.11.-10.11. 2013 at the "Spielefest" in the Austria Center
Vienna in Vienna.
On Friday evening, there will be an informal get-together with all participants who eventually will already
be there.
Saturday will be the day of the preliminaries. In the evening we plan another get-together for all
participants.
On Sunday, there will be the final game and the decision who will be European Champion 2013!
The whole event will be live-streamed as well as there will be a moderated chat in which people from all
countries can comment on the broadcasted games. This will ensure a very effective media coverage with
big event character. Furthermore we will of course have a photographer and will document the event
carefully so that we will be able to deliver a great portfolio for your marketing purposes afterwards.
Every nation is allowed to send 2 participants! All costs for the organization of the event will be taken
over by us. The only cost that we ask every licencee to bear will be for transport and accomodation of
their participants.
We would like to ask you to fill out the attached form as soon as possible and send it back. We
need the information so that we can plan how many rooms we will need to reserve, for how many people
we need catering, etc.
We hope that we will have many participants of many nations and cultures at the European
Championship 2013 and make it a successful and inspiring event for everybody!
